Water Polo

Out of her passion for the sport that has enriched her life in many ways, Betsey is actively involved with water polo at variety of skill levels. She offers private clinics and lessons throughout the country, has coached with the USA Women’s Junior National Team for two World Championship cycles. She is an Associate Director of Goalkeeper Development with USA Water Polo’s Olympic Development Program. Believing that everyone learns differently, Betsey’s coaching style is specifically designed to support the present needs of her athletes, as well as to inspire, equip, and empower them to excel from within.

Mentorship and Coaching

As a mentor and a coach, Betsey offers team workshops and individual coaching sessions for clients from every discipline of sport and sector of life that are designed to elevate communication, strengthen leadership, and cultivate awareness. Content is specifically curated to suit the individual and collective needs and objectives of her clients. Subject matter ranges from the technical and tactical components to be successful in sport and in life, to a holistic, big picture approach of setting the foundation from which we are successful while navigating obstacles, and processing failures.

Yoga

Throughout her athletic career and long afterward, Betsey has been a dedicated yoga student—both on and off of the mat. In 2014 she completed her initial teacher training with renowned teacher Chrissy Carter in New York City. In 2015, Betsey went on to complete her advanced teacher training apprenticeship, and begin the workshop series toward completing her certification. Betsey currently teaches throughout the Hudson Valley and Northeast to Division 1 sports teams, as well as to her local community. She offers private and small group sessions virtually and in person.
